Fright Night

This tutorial assumes you have a workable knowledge of PSP but it is suitable for all levels including beginners.
MATERIALS REQUIRED.
Tube/s of choice, the ones I used are by the fantabulous Keith Garvey and although I originally purchased them via MPT they can ow be bought at PTE

Scrap Kit & Alpha (optional) of choice, I used this really cute kit from Soxational Scraps and  called Zombieween
Mask of choice, the one I used is one I made myself and is available here
Font of choice I used VKTS Dear Love which can be found here
The Grass is an onboard tube within psp.

Filters used, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow
On Board drop Shadow.
I use PSPXIII but any version would be suitable.
Open a new image 750 x 750 blank.

From your kit pick the haunted house, duplicate and close the original, resize as needed,
I reduces to 70%. Add drop shadow using these settings H&V 4 Opacity 35 Blur 5 Colour Black.
Repeat drop shadow changing H&V to -4.
These are the settings i use throughout the tutorial.

Add a new layer, with your tube tool, find the grass tube settings as follows,
sixe 24, step 500, placement random, selection mode random.
On your new layer just click the tube tool so that you get a lawn of grass.
Bring this layer under the the house layer.

Open up a paper from your kit duplicate and close the original,
paste as a new layer and apply your mask. Merge group.
On your layer palette arrange, send to bottom.
Click on your houe layer and start building up your tag by choosing various elements from the kit, resizing as required. (see finished tag for placement guide).
Add drop shadow as before to the elements you have picked.
Copy and paste your tube of choice. Add drop shadow.

once you are happy with how the tag looks merge visible.
This step is optional, but resize the letters and spell out FRIGHT NIGHT with your Alpha.
Arrange in a higglety pigglety fashion as I.
Close off your tag layer and merge visible with your letters, add drop shadow.
Add your text and add gradient glow with these settings
on your colour tab pick thin, change the colour to suit your text,
on the basic tab glow width 4.00, soft corners. 0.00 Opacity 100. apply.
Repeat using a contrast colour.

Add your copyright info merge visible and save as png and your done.
